Important Deadlines:
May 19 - Application, fee and slide postmark deadline
June 1 - Notification of juror selections
June 27 - Deadline for delivery of accepted work (ready to hang)
July 4 - Opening reception, awards announced 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
July 4 - 27 - Exhibition
August 4 - 8 - Return of work
Your application must include the following:
- CD with up to 3 works with 1-3 views of each work. Images must be in .jpg, .tiff or .pdf format with a 72 DPI and a maximum of 800 pixels in height or width. Files names must be formatted as: “LastName_Title_ImageNumber.jpg”. *Do not send images imbedded in a Word document or PowerPoint presentation. Video artists whose work is chosen must provide a projector or other means of viewing works for the exhibition.
- Current, professional resume and a one-paragraph artist’s statement.
- If you wish to have your CD returned to you, you must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for the return of the CD or other materials.
- Non-refundable entry fee of $30 in the form of check or money order made payable to The 621 Gallery. *Credit cards accepted as well.
